A revealing challenge to every woman who thinks she can deny love!"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about the haughty heir of a wealthy family, and his comeuppance he receives over the course of his life) starring Joseph Cotten, Dolores Costello, Anne Baxter, Tim Holt, Agnes Moorehead (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Ray Collins, Erskine Sanford, and Richard Bennett. Note that many film buffs consider this movie to be similar in quality to "Citizen Kane" (made by Welles just prior to this movie), with the notable exception of the ending (the studio took the movie away from Welles, and substituted a ridiculous "happy" ending in place of Welles' somber one, and that new ending was not filmed by Welles; apparently, the original ending no longer exists, and finding it would be one of the greatest possible finds of "lost" film ever!) Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is a 2" diagonal tear in the lower right that extends into the title and a 3" tear in the top center that extends into Cotten's hair and cheek. Someone put tape on the back of those tears, but otherwise left the card alone, which also has pinholes and smudges around the edges.
