Marcus, and Gary Cooper (in an uncredited bit part) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this first release half-sheet! The only other posters we have auctioned were a six-sheet and an incomplete three-sheet, and no others! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Finally, note that because this half-sheet was printed on a slightly heavier paper, it makes far more sense for it to be sent in a large flat package than rolled in a tube, because we are afraid that rolling it could cause damage to it, and we would hate for that to happen! We will only send it rolled in a tube if the buyer insists, and accepts full responsibility in case there is any damage to it. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some tiny areas of paper loss in the blank borders. It has a 4" vertical tear in the left of the image, in the sleeve and in the background below it, with a second tear running horizontally from the top of the first tear. Someone put tape on the back of the two tears, and on the back of a few border tears, and performed slight restoration to the image where the two tears were (see our image).
