An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded English One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Prelude to Fame, the 1951 Fergus McDonell English boy-genius musical composer melodrama (about a very young musical genius; based on the story by Aldous Huxley) starring Guy Rolfe, Kathleen Byron, Kathleen Ryan, Jeremy Spenser, Henry Oscar, John Slater, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Christopher Lee (unbilled in a very early role as a newsman!) Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! We have never auctioned one (or ANY English movie paper for this title) in all our years of auctioning! Condition: fair to good. The poster is in lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the borders and foldlines/crossfolds, and there are one or more areas of significant foldline and/or crossfold separation. The entire upper vertical foldline has separated and there is horizontal separation at the top crossfold. There is a censor stamp at upper center and the folds have darkened (especially the vertical foldline).
