An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Dangers of the Arctic, the 1932 Earl Rossman Alaska Arctic Circle expedition adventure documentary ("The old sourdoughs say Earl Rossman knows his Northland. Better still, he has photographed it so graphically that now the whole world can enjoy the Alaskan Arctic without shivers - but not without thrills. Too, he flies over Mt. McKinley, roof of the continent. The stunt of a madman, they called it in Nome. The famous 'Valley of 10,000 smokes' is here adequately photographed for the first time. Marvellous Alaska, its Indians, animals, birds, hunting, fishing, trapping and the primordial struggle for existence of its people are vividly described in words and pictures by the explorer himself.") narrated by Earl Rossman. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a vertical lobby card. There are very few vertical lobby cards. It is on typical lobby card stock of the period, but we have never seen another from this movie, so we don't know if there were others, or if there was a set of eight, or if they were all vertical. Condition: very good to fine. The card has three tiny circular punch holes in the left blank border, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! Learn More about condition grades
