a lot of 1 folded English double crown and 1 British Quad from A King in New York, the 1957 Charles Chaplin English/U.S. comedy satire ("The King of Comedians in his latest and most hilarious film"; "Original story and script by Charles Chaplin"; "Charles Chaplin adds another jewel to his comedy crown as. A King in New York"; Chaplin was appalled by the McCarthy Hearings, and this movie is a satire on that, with a deposed king of an unnamed country coming to New York for asylum, but he is falsely accused of being a Communist!) starring Charlie Chaplin (billed here as 'Charles Chaplin'; in the title role as King Shahdov), Maxine Audley, Jerry Desmonde, Oliver Johnston, Dawn Addams, Michael Chaplin (son of Charlie!), Maxine Audley, and Harry Green.

Measurements: from 20" x 30" to 30" x 40"

Condition: good. Both posters were mounted on thin linen, likely soon after they were created. Either or both could be removed from the thin linen and properly backed, or of course, they could be displayed as they are, but that will be the choice of the new owner of these cool posters.
