An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

The Bank Dick, the classic 1940 Edward F. Cline family relationship stock swindle bank robbery crime screwball comedy ("Original Story by Mahatma Kane Jeeves") starring W.C. Fields (as Egbert Souse), Una Merkel, Richard Purcell, Shemp Howard (as the bartender at the Black Pussy Cafe), Franklin Pangborn (as the bank examiner), Grady Sutton (as Og Oggilby), Jessie Ralph, Cora Witherspoon, Russell Hicks (as the guy who would rather sell his grandmother's paisley shawl than sell his Beefsteak Mine stock), and Al Hill (as the bank robber). Note that the "original screen play" is credited to "Mahatma Kane Jeeves", which was one of many of W.C. Fields' wacky pseudonyms!
