He is best remembered for his starring role in The More The Merrier (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). Some of his other movies include: The Lady Eve, Kings Row, Green Years (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Devil and Miss Jones (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Heaven Can Wait. He passed away in 1961 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this portrait still is from the movie "Heaven Can Wait". Condition: good.
