An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Star For a Night, the 1936 Lewis Seiler family relationship musical melodrama ("Based on the play 'Die Heilige Luege' by Karin Michaelis"; about a blind woman going to visit her children who she hasn't seen in years, and they lied to her through the mail saying that they were huge successes, and they are not, but they must trick her into believing they are when she visits) starring Claire Trevor, Jane Darwell, Arline Judge, Evelyn Venable, Astrid Allwyn, J. Edward Bromberg, Alan Dinehart, Dean Jagger, and Joyce Compton. Note that the screenwriters of this movie took the plot of Frank Capra's "Lady for a Day" and exactly reversed it! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the movie is called "The Holy Lie" on this still, which was the working title for this movie! Also note that this still has two punch holes in the top border, so it could be a key book still, or someone could have just put those punch holes there. Condition: very good.
