Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) In Old Cheyenne, the 1941 Joseph Kane Wyoming singing cowboy western (about a news reporter who goes to Cheyenne to cover the activities of a supposed bad guy) starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Joan Woodbury, J. Farrell MacDonald, Sally Payne, George Rosener, William Haade, and Hal Taliaferro NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss in the center of the poster on the horizontal fold and the restorer did not repair this, or one other tiny dot of paper loss 3" below the top crossfold. The poster had light restoration on the foldlines, but bas. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed.
