What Applesauce!"; "Acting was easy as falling into trouble ...for Dagwood!"; "Footlight Glamour with Blondie and the Bumsteads"; one of the highly successful series of "Blondie" movies, "Based upon the comic strip 'Blondie' created by Chic Young") starring Penny Singleton (best remembered for playing the title role in this movie series), Arthur Lake (best remembered for playing Dagwood Bumstead in this movie series), Larry Simms, Ann Savage, Jonathan Hale, Irving Bacon, and Daisy (the dog)
