An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More)

Rotkappchen (literally translates to "Little Red Riding Hood"), the 1940s (perhaps 1950s) German animated animation cartoon (based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm). Note that Schongerfilm produced a live-action movie based on this fairy tale in 1954, but this poster is promoting a cartoon and we cannot find more information about it. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had extra horizontal folds, with creases, scuffs, and tiny paper loss along parts of most folds and a foreign stamp in the top right corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
