Giant From the Unknown, the 1958 Richard E. Cunha science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("It Came From Another World"; "The creeping terror that rose from the depths of the unknown!") starring Edward Kemmer, Sally Fraser, Buddy Baer (in the title role as an undead Spanish conquistador!), Morris Ankrum, Bob Steele, and Jolene Brand (billed as "Joline Brand")

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had some extra creases scattered throughout, and some stains in the solid red background areas. It had some tiny paper loss in parts of the blank borders and surface paper loss in the girl's shoulder and chest. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was fairly well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer left alone the surface paper loss near the center (or it was acquired before the poster was backed).
