An Original 1932 (from the first release of this movie in Denmark) Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 25 1/4" x 35 1/2" [64 x 90 cm]) (Learn More) Fra Diavolo, the 1931 Mario Bonnard French/German/Italian romantic melodrama (based on the libretto by Eugene Scribe) starring Tino Pattiera (in the title role as Fra Diavolo), Brigitte Horney, Kurt Lilien, Heinrich Heilinger, Ernst Stahl-Nachbaur, and May Vincent. Note that this is an alternate-language version of the French release that also starred Tino Pattiera! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this very rare poster in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has white paper tape repairs on back of parts of the folds and borders where there were small tears and separation, so the poster can't be refolded, but it only has minor fold and border wear and has generally survived quite well given its age!
