Rogell New York City romantic courtroom legal lawyer crime murder mystery screwball comedy ("Blood-chilling mystery in New York's Bohemia!"; "An artist's corpse on the floor puts a beautiful model on the spot!"; "His arms were her alibi!"; "Terror stalks the studios"; about a lawyer who defends an artist's model who is also an heiress, who is accused of murdering the artist, and not surprisingly, he falls in love with his client; the movie has many wacky supporting actors, supposed to be typical Greenwich Village residents at that time) starring Richard Arlen, Fay Wray, Raymond Walburn, Wyn Cahoon, Scott Kolk, Thurston Hall, and Marc Lawrence NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had much paper loss in the top right corner, extending into the "UDIOS" of "STUDIOS" and going down into the right of the newspapers, and ending in the background above the end of the title. It had tears and some paper loss scattered down the center, with paper loss in the center of the bottom border, extending into the Columbia credit. It had some other tears scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in poor to fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's much lesser condition, the restorer did a really nice job of both replacing the missing area and keeping the poster from having a heavily restored look. It will display well on the new owner's wall, and few people would realize the extent of the restoration it has had. Learn More about condition grades
