Les Tricheurs (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "The Cheaters"), the 1958 Marcel Carne French/Italian post-World War II aimless teenagers romantic melodrama ("Their law is IMMORTALITY and they cheat themselves into damnation!"; "Frightened youths' immoral conception of a world they didn't make... A future they fear!"; about the French youth after World War II, and their attempts to make sense out of a very troubled world; very similar to the first U.S. teen movies of the late 1950s and early 1960s) starring Pascale Petit, Andrea Parisy, Jacques Charrier, Laurent Terzieff, and Jean-Paul Belmondo (in his fourth movie role!)
