The Man who put the Man in roMANce"; "Directed by Alfred Hitchcock Director of 'The Man Who Knew Too Much"; "A hundred steps ahead of any picture this year"; from the novel by John Buchan; perhaps Alfred Hitchcock's best movie ever; there are too many wonderful plot twists and clever moments to describe here, but everyone should see this excellent movie!) starring Robert Donat, Madeleine Carroll, Lucie Mannheim, Godfrey Tearle, and Peggy Ashcroft NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The bottom 3" of the card was folded back, as was the left 3 1/4" and right 3/4" (so that the card could be displayed in an 8" x 10" frame), but those areas were not trimmed off. There were also tiny pinholes in the blank borders. A really superb restorer flattened those creases and then performed the slightest of restoration to the front of those areas so that it is now invisible, except on the absolute closest inspection. The card was not backed, and had no other restoration, and it looks incredible! Learn More about condition grades
