An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Soldier Man, the 1926 Harry Edwards silent World War I (WWI) fantasy slapstick comedy short (co-written by Frank Capra; produced by Mack Sennett; about a soldier at the end of World War I who doesn't realize the war has ended; he wanders into a fictional country called Bomania, and by an amazing coincidence, he is an exact double for the king, and they need his help to sign a treaty to end their part in the war) starring Harry Langdon (in a dual role), Vernon Dent, Natalie Kingston, Frank Whitson, and Andy Clyde. Note that it was a pretty common plot device in silent movies to not only have people meet their exact double, but also to then go on to impersonate them. I wonder if this happens much in real life!
