An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Spoilers of the Range, the 1939 Charles C. Coleman (billed as "C.C. Coleman") romantic cowboy western ("Song-swingin', gun-slingin' romance of the plains!"; about a saloon owner who hires a crook to rob the local cattlemen, and then he loans them back their own money, intending to bankrupt them, but Charles Starrett saves the day and wins his girl!) starring Charles Starrett, Iris Meredith, The Sons of the Pioneers ("Famous radio stars"), Dick Curtis, and Kenneth MacDonald. Note that the movie opens with The Sons of the Pioneers singing "Tumblin' Tumbleweeds".

Important Added Info: Note that any 1939 first release movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned some lobby cards and an insert from this movie until we received this one-sheet!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had extra folds above and below the regular top fold, with tears and tiny paper loss on parts of most folds, including in the girl's face. There was paper loss in the left of the first "S" of the title and some pen marks in the face of Starrett. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
