Nippon chinbotsu (released in the U.S. in 1975 as "Tidal Wave" and in other English-speaking countries as "Submersion of Japan") , the 1973 Andrew Meyer & Shiro Moritani Japanese Tokyo natural disaster science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Earthquakes shatter the nation. Cities become raging firestorms. But the worst is yet to come!"; "The Ultimate Disaster 'when this wave hits, millions will die!'") starring Lorne Greene ("as The Ambassador"), Keiju Kobayashi, Rhonda Leigh Hopkins, Hiroshi Fujioka, and Tetsuro Tanba. Note that the Japanese version was 143 minutes, while the U.S. English-dubbed version was cut down to 82 minutes.
