An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Channing of the Northwest, the 1922 Ralph Ince ("Personally staged by Ralph Ince") silent Pacific Northwest romantic melodrama starring Eugene O'Brien (in the title role as Channing), Gladden James, Norma Shearer (19 years old and third billed in her fifth credited movie, her highest billing to that point), James Seeley, and Pat Hartigan. Note that many people might not know that Norma Shearer started very young at age 17 in 1920, and she was far from an overnight success. Her career did not move into high gear until after her 1927 marriage to Irving Thalberg, the man who began to run MGM around that time. After they were married, he thought she would retire, but she saw their marriage as the beginning of a major career for her, which it was! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
