An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Ms. Magnificent (released in Italy as "Miss Magnificent"), the 1979 Damon Christian sexploitation comic book comedy spoof ("Mrs. Magnificent Does Two Things Extremely Well... One of them is Fly!!!") starring Deseree Cousteau (billed as "Starring 'Hustler' Centerfold Deseree Cousteau Best Actress 3rd Annual Erotic Film Awards 1979"), Jesie St. James ("as Kreeta Borgia"), Holly McCall, Liza Moceau, and John Seeman. Note that this movie was intended to be released as "Superwoman", and until 2023 we had only seen a pressbook with that title until we were then consigned a one-sheet with the recalled title "Superwoman"! A knowledgeable collector tells us that the stylized "S" emblem was used in the film but blocked out for the release, and the film omits the name "Superwoman" that occurred in conversations. Apparently, legal action forced them to change the name at the last minute! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare, recalled version of this poster! As noted above, until we were consigned this poster (the very same poster referenced in our description) we had only seen a pressbook with this title, but never this recalled poster! Note that this is one of 58 sexploitation one-sheets which we were recently consigned (we auctioned the first of these over the last three months, and now we continue with another group of them)! The 58 posters are in separate auctions, and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right and there is general wear along all the folds. There are several light creases scattered throughout. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the very rare recalled poster (see above) will look great!
