Artist: Bob Gleason Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by John Carpenter! Our consignor had a good friend who was able to visit the set of "Vampires" in New Mexico while Mr. Carpenter was filming it. He sent this poster to his friend who took it to Mr. Carpenter, who signed it. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but because our consignor says it is a very trusted friend who handled the poster, we believe the signature is authentic. Also note that this poster has a rating box with a green background. When the movie was first released, posters were printed with a blue/green rating box. Shortly after (probably because the movie was a big hit), additional posters were printed with a black rating box. Most collectors consider both of these to be original release posters, but that the blue/green rating box ones are considered more desirable by many collectors! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good. The poster was folded in half an extra time. It has a pinhole in each corner (with paper loss in the bottom blank corners) and lots of creases scattered throughout. Learn More about condition grades
