Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and some tiny tears, tiny bits of paper loss, and stains on parts of the folds, and pinholes, creases, stains, and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Also, the poster is slightly "lifting" from the linen in parts of the edges of the poster, but that is not likely a big consideration, because most collectors would surely have this poster re-backed.
