An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 3/4" x 41 1/2" [70 x 105 cm]) (Learn More) A Doll's House, the 1918 Maurice Tourneur silent crime family relationship melodrama ("Waiting for the miracle to happen"; based on the play by Henrik Ibsen; about a young woman who forges a document to steal money to save the life of her ailing husband, but years later, he holds that against her, and they have a very troubled marriage) starring Elsie Ferguson, Holmes Herbert, Alex Shannon, Ethel Grey Terry, and Warren Cook. Apparently, this 1879 play was in the public domain in the 1910s, because Universal made a version of it in 1917, and the following year, Paramount made this version, and there was another silent version in 1922 by United Artists! Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and a few tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, with a few pinholes and small areas of paper loss in the blank borders.
