An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4") (Learn More) Varietes, the 1935 Nicolas Farkas French/German circus trapeze romantic love triangle melodrama (about a trio of circus acrobats, two men and a beautiful woman, and the men's rivalry for her spreads over into their act, and there is the chance that the loser in love will drop the winner in mid-air; if this movie sounds a lot like the American movie "Trapeze", it is!) starring Annabella, Jean Gabin, Fernand Gravey, Nicolas Koline, and Sinoel. Note that this movie was filmed simultaneously in both German and French, with Hans Albers and Attila Horbiger replacing Jean Gabin and Fernand Gravey in the leading male roles. Important Added Info: Note that this Italian one-sheet has a logo on it that says "Edizione Cine 16", and we suspect it is for a 16mm showings in Italy at some point in the late 1940s, and it may or may not also be from the 1947 first release. Condition: very good. There is tape on the back of the center of the middle foldline and on the back of most of the top quarter of the vertical foldline.
