An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) A Double Life, the 1947 George Cukor ("Two men lived and loved behind this face!"; nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) mental illness crime film noir ("Written by Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin"; about a Shakespearean stage actor who begins to confuse his stage roles with his personal life, with disastrous results!) starring Ronald Colman (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Signe Hasso, Edmond O'Brien, Shelley Winters, Ray Collins, Philip Loeb, Millard Mitchell, Joe Sawyer, John Derek (in a bit part; his third uncredited movie role!), and Paddy Chayefsky (in his first movie role!). Note that Shelley Winters was fourth billed in this movie, but it was the part that brought her fame! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a paper snipe glued on the back of the still that describes the scene on the front (it does not affect the front of the still). Condition: good to very good. There are three punch holes in the left border of the still and someone wrote Miss Winters' name in the top blank border. Otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
