An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Docks of New York, the 1945 Wallace Fox juvenile crime comedy (produced by Sam Katzman and Jack Dietz) starring The East Side Kids (including Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and Billy Benedict), Gloria Pope, Carlyle Blackwell Jr., Betty Blythe, Cy Kendall, and Bernard Gorcey. Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! There is a 2 1/2" tear in the upper right corner and a smaller tear in the lower left corner that were both repaired with tape from the back. There are many creases scattered throughout the still.
