The Gang's All Here (released in other English-speaking countries as "The Girls He Left Behind"), the 1943 Busby Berkeley World War II (WWII) romantic love triangle musical ("Based on a Story by Nancy Wintner, George Root, Jr. and Tom Bridges"; about an Army sergeant on leave who falls for a beautiful showgirl, but he is engaged to a girl back home; there is not much to the plot, and it just is intended to add a patriotic twist to a standard all-star musical where 20th Century-Fox put in all their best people to perform a series of songs!) starring Alice Faye, Carmen Miranda, Phil Baker, Benny Goodman (billed as "The King of Swing Benny Goodman and His Orchestra"), Eugene Pallette, Charlotte Greenwood, Edward Everett Horton, Tony De Marco, James Ellison, Sheila Ryan, and David Willock
