What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had a long slightly diagonal crease in the upper left of the image. It had some creases and scuffs scattered throughout, with a few small tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was mounted onto a thin linen, without restoration, and it seems likely that it has acquired additional creases through somewhat rough handling since it was backed.
