An Original Vintage Theatrical Trolley Card Movie Poster (measures 20 3/4" x 27") (Learn More)

the 1936 San Francisco trolley card giving the movies that were playing at the Fox Theatre for the upcoming week ("2 Hits"): Cecil B. DeMille's The Plainsman, the classic 1936 Cecil B. DeMille romantic cowboy western starring Gary Cooper (as "Wild Bill Hickok"), Jean Arthur (as "Calamity Jane"; She was a major star of the 1930s, but she was far from an "overnight success"!; she was born in 1900, and appeared in 46 silent movies, mostly in minor roles; once sound movies began, she quickly gained stardom, no doubt partially due to her distinctive voice, and she became a major star in her middle thirties!), James Ellison (as "Buffalo Bill Cody"), Charles Bickford, Helen Burgess, and Porter Hall AND Country Gentlemen, the 1936 Ralph Staub oil drilling screwball comedy starring Ole Olsen, Chic Johnson (billed collectively as "Olsen & Johnson"), Joyce Compton, Lila Lee, and Ray Corrigan
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this trolley card is not "roll-able", because the paper is thick enough and it is fragile enough that rolling it would damage it. Therefore we will send it in a large flat package that measures approximately 23" x 29". Please bear that extra shipping cost in mind BEFORE placing a bid on this poster!

Condition: good to very good. There is tiny paper loss in the top right corner and some smudges and scuffs scattered through the card.
