An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 29 1/4" x 43 1/4" [74 x 110 cm]) (Learn More) a 1940s John Wayne Argentinean stock poster used by theaters to advertise re-released John Wayne cowboy western movies distributed by Monogram. Theaters would order these posters, which had a large blank area. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Note that the poster has several errors, including "Jhon Wayne", "Monogran" instead of Monogram, and the Monogram logo says "Monitor Pictures". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have NEVER before auctioned this Argentinean stock poster! Condition: fair to good. The poster was folded in half an extra time and it has small brown stains scattered throughout the back, and they show through to the front in varying degrees (see our image). Obviously, this extremely rare poster can be restored, but bear its defects in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
