An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Valley of Bravery, the 1926 Jack Nelson silent cowboy western romantic action adventure (about a World War I veteran who was badly wounded in the war and nursed back to health by a pretty nurse; he goes to the Montana ranch where she lives after the war and he stops a bunch of crooks from robbing her, and he rescues her and wins her love) starring Bob Custer, Tom Bay, Eugenia Gilbert, William Gillespie, and Ernie Adams NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had an irregular area of paper loss just above the right of the top crossfold in Custer's eyebrow and forehead, extending into the brim of his hat. It also had paper loss in the bottom of the "ST" of "CUSTER", extending into the "E" of "VALLEY" below it. Otherwise, the poster only had a few small tears, creases, and tiny bits of paper loss on the foldlines and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. A really fantastic restorer did a great job of recreating the missing areas described above, and you can see slight signs of the restoration from close up, but from any reasonable viewing distance, the poster displays really well!
