eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 5t221 MEL GIBSON signed promotional book '02 filled with photos & info from We Were Soldiers! Date Sold 3/10/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Autographed Movie Promotional Book (measures 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]; 50 pages) (Learn More) Mel Gibson is an actor and director from the 1970s to the present. He was born in America, but moved to Australia with his family as a child, and has a strong Australian accent (so strong that when Mad Max was first released in the U.S., he was dubbed!). Some of his movies include: Gallipoli, the Mad Max series, Braveheart, and the Lethal Weapon series. He directed The Passion of the Christ, which made him hundreds of millions of dollars, but his explosive tirades severely hurt his reputation and legacy, resulting in a Hollywood blacklist until 2016, and although his close friends have stuck by him (including several famous actors), his career has not recovered, although he is working on a sequel to The Passion of the Christ, slated for release in 2022! Important Added Info: Note that this item (which we believe was a promotional book that doubled as a "presskit", because it has a pocket on the inside back cover where one could insert some photos) has been personally autographed (signed) by Mel Gibson! Our consignor obtained this autograph from a photo journalist who did celebrity interviews, and he obtained this signature in person at a press junket for this movie. Condition: very good. If this promo book ever contained photos in the inside back cover (see above), it does not now. Learn More about condition grades
