An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Springtime in the Rockies, the 1937 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical ("Original Screen Play by Gilbert Wright & Betty Burbridge") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Polly Rowles, Ula Love, Ruth Bacon, Jane Hunt, and George Chesebro NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. There were creases, tears, and areas of paper loss in between the top and middle crossfold and there was some paper loss near the bottom of the "A" of "Autry". There were some creases and separation on parts of the other foldlines and some creases, smudges, and tiny stains in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed. You can see signs of the restoration of the above defects from close up, but from any reasonable viewing distance, they are not very distracting at all. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
