An Original 1967 (see below) Vintage Theatrical English 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Bottoms, the 1967 Anthony Cox & Yoko Ono English experimental avante-gard film (consisting entirely of close-ups of bottoms, that was somehow meant to encourage a dialogue for world peace, which seems not to have worked) starring Yoko Ono, Susannah Campbell, Philip Corner, Anthony Cox, Kyoko Ono Cox, Richard Hamilton, and Karin Perling. Note that Anthony Cox & Yoko Ono (who were married at the time) created a 6 minute short in 1966 called No. 4, which was edited into this feature-length movie. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we can't imagine that virtually any advertising item survives from this extremely odd Yoko Ono documentary (either the 1966 6-minute version called "No. 4" or the 1967 expanded 90-minute version called "Bottoms"), but this great still (with a photo credit for John Drysdale) has somehow managed to survive! Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Condition: good. There is white spray paint in the top left of the still (we imagine this was done before it was published in a magazine). Perhaps there was something offensive in that area, which seems especially ironic! Otherwise, teh still has a tear in the top border and creases to the right of that tear, but is certainly very "display-able" as it is. Learn More about condition grades
