Victim, the 1961 (released in the U.S. in 1962) Basil Dearden English gay homosexual blackmail crime melodrama ("A scorching drama of the most un-talked-about subject of our time!"; "Produced by Michael Relph"; note that this was one of the very first mainstream movies to deal honestly and candidly with gay characters, and it led the way for many more mainstream movies on this subject) starring Dirk Bogarde, Sylvia Syms, Dennis Price, John Cairney, Peter McEnery, Anthony Nicholls, and Peter Copley

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and creases and scuffs in the top quarter of the vertical foldline. There was a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There was a diagonal crease just below the left end of the middle horizontal fold, extending into the border. There were scuffs scattered in the solid black areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
