Artist: Renato Casaro Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie, and only one in the last 19 years! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds, with staple holes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
