An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

United Airlines: Surf Hawaii, the circa 1960s travel poster made by United Airlines to promote travel and surfing in Hawaii urging travelers to use their airlines ("Go where the big ones are fly the friendly skies of United the Airline of sports champions."). This poster features great art of a man surfing by Otero. If anyone knows more about this poster (including the exact year), please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that a knowledgeable travel poster collector pointed out that this is the rare version of this poster. Lani-e-kea is spelled incorrectly and the poster was pulled before it went into wide circulation.

Condition: good to very good. There are a few pieces of clear tape on the front and back around the edges of the poster but they do not appear to be there for any restoration purpose. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
