An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) College Humor, the 1933 Wesley Ruggles college university school romantic comedy starring Bing Crosby, Richard Arlen, Jack Oakie, Mary Carlisle, George Burns & Gracie Allen (Burns & Allen), Lona Andre, Mary Kornman, and the "Ox Road Co-eds". Note that this was Bing Crosby's first lead role (his second movie) and his first singing role. It was made by Paramount the year after their very successful Marx Bros movie "Horse Feathers", and it has a similar plot, plus it has Bing Crosby and Burns & Allen! We have only previously auctioned a half-sheet, five lobby cards, a jumbo lobby card, a few stills and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this one-sheet! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds, with some pairs of staple holes around the edges. It had some tears and paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
