An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 2 supplements, 7 stills, and 11 35mm slides) (Learn More) James Garner was an actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He was a top movie star in the 1960s, including in The Great Escape. He had great success in TV's "Maverick" and "The Rockford Files", and he remained a leading man even into his later years. Some of his other roles include: Grand Prix, The Children's Hour, Boys' Night Out, Wheeler Dealers, Move Over Darling, Marlowe, Support Your Local Sheriff, Murphy's Romance (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Space Cowboys, and The Notebook. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by James Garner! Also note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Note that this signed item was consigned to us by a man who worked in the movie business, and who attended many premieres and special Hollywood events. When he would go to them, he would bring repro 8x10s (or other items that he happened to have that were related to stars he knew would be in attendance), and get them autographed in person. Condition: very good to fine. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition.
