Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned six examples of this six-sheet, but the last one was 12 years ago, and it sold for $925! Note that most of the first release posters from this movie do not play up the pool playing angle of the movie, instead pushing it as a romantic movie (likely because 20th Century Fox was afraid of promoting it as a "sports" movie). Only this original six-sheet, and the 30x40 (which has a very similar layout and design to this original six-sheet) have the inset boxes that show both Jackie Gleason and George C. Scott! Note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. There is a foreign stamp in two of the corners. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are many tiny staple holes around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
