An Original Vintage Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Television Still (Learn More) Agnes Moorehead was an actress from the 1940s to the 1970s. She appeared in Orson Welles' first two movies (Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons), and is best remembered today for playing Endora on TV's "Bewitched". Some of her other movies include: Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Magnificent Ambersons (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Mrs. Parkington (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She passed away in 1974 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Agnes Moorehead! Our consignor obtained this from a Hollywood restaurant that was near the studio when this show was being filmed, and they had this signed still and others on their wall. It is personalized to "Aliza", who owned the restaurant with her husband "Uri". Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Also note that this still was printed on Kodak paper, but this is because TV stills were quite commonly printed on Kodak paper (no doubt they needed far fewer stills for TV shows than they did for movies, so it just made financial sense to have Kodak copies made rather than printing large numbers of them). We are certain it is an original TV still, and not a later copy. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good.
