Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed (and someone also trimmed 1/4" from the top and bottom blank borders, and only blank white paper was affected). The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. It has a censor stamp in the top right corner, some wear on the folds, and some creases and ripples across the middle, 4" below the center. This poster could be professionally removed from the original linen and placed onto a new linen backing, or it could be displayed as is. Learn More about condition grades
