Varietes, the 1935 Nicolas Farkas French/German circus trapeze romantic love triangle melodrama (about a trio of circus acrobats, two men and a beautiful woman, and the men's rivalry for her spreads over into their act, and there is the chance that the loser in love will drop the winner in mid-air; if this movie sounds a lot like the American movie "Trapeze", it is!) starring Annabella, Jean Gabin, Fernand Gravey, Nicolas Koline, and Sinoel. Note that this movie was filmed simultaneously in both German and French, with Hans Albers and Attila Horbiger replacing Jean Gabin and Fernand Gravey in the leading male roles.
