An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Paul Whiteman was the leader of the big band Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra from the 1920s to the 1950s. He also hosted three of his own TV series and appeared in more than half a dozen movies. His music has appeared in movies such as Rhapsody in Blue, The King of Jazz, Strike Up the Band, and the Fabulous Dorseys. Whiteman passed away in 1967 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Paul Whiteman! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10". Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. The left and right blank borders were neatly trimmed and the still now measures 8" x 10". There is slight discoloration around the edges of the image and light rippling in the middle left (due to exposure to moisture). Learn More about condition grades
