Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases, tiny tears, tiny bits of paper loss, and separation on parts of the foldlines, with pinholes, tears, and some stains around the edges of the poster. There were tears in the top corners that were repaired with tape from the back. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above (and oddly, the restorer did not remove the tape from the back of the top corners before backing the poster).
