How anything can live in this land of heat, sun, sand and soundless space is a mystery to most of us. Yet, where we find only a dead and desolate wasteland, nature finds life. Walt Disney's first feature-length True Life Adventure, The Living Desert, pictorially unfolds again the ancient drama of the struggle for existence. It is unlike anything of its kind ever before brought to the motion picture screen. Our cameras have pried into secrets of nature few have ever witnessed. To see it... is to peer back into time a million years."; winner of the Best Documentary Academy Award) featuring Winston Hibler as the narrator NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the back of this card was overprinted with a rectangular pattern. This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. This IS an original lobby card that was overprinted on the back and has a still glued to the back (the still is from "The Silent Flute"). Condition: fair to good. There is overprinting on the back and a still glued to the back , but it does not have much effect on the front. There is also scuffing in the solid colored areas. Learn More about condition grades
