American Airlines: Every Jet a Fan Jet, the 1964 poster encouraging travel aboard American Airlines, each equipped with their new Astrojets ("Fly Astrojet And You Fly Assured"). This poster features great art of an Astrojet in flight by Hanke. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had many creases, tears, smudges, and tiny areas of paper loss down the left 1 1/2" of the bottom half of the poster, with some tiny tears in the upper half of the left border. Other than the left damage described, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
