An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8" x 11" [20 x 28 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More)

Walt Disney was the legendary creator of Mickey Mouse and the Walt Disney Studios. He took cartoons from shorts to feature-length films (beginning with his Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, and over the next decades, he (and his studio) brought to the screen dozens of feature-length cartoons and hundreds of animated shorts featuring all his lovable characters including Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto, Bambi, Pinocchio, and many more! Of course, he also had the foresight to create Disneyland and Disney World! He passed away in 1966 at the age of 65, but his studio, his theme parks, and much more will live on forever!

Important Added Info: Note that this great candid image shows Walt Disney looking at one of a stack of books that seem to be a series of children's books. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
