Mason Hopper & Leslie Pearce romantic mistaken identity crime melodrama (a plot that was much used in the 1930s and 1940s, where gangsters send for a hit man to kill the D.A., and a mild-mannered country bumpkin is accidentally mistaken for the hit man) starring Douglas MacLean, Frances Lee, William B. Davidson, Lorraine MacLean, Charles Hill Mailes, and Francis McDonald. Note that when this movie was made, Lorraine MacLean was Lorraine Kelly, but two years after this movie, she married star Douglas MacLean, and the two remained married for five years. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
